FAMILIES who have been caught up in the baby organ scandals are being invited to a Manchester seminar to have their say.
The seminar on Monday, November 27, is being held at the Midland Crown Plaza Hotel from 10am until 4pm and is being organised by the National Committee relating to Organ Retention.
The committee had been campaigning for a national forum to allow families to understand and reconcile their attitude to the practice of organ retention.
During the seminars, families will be able to meet other families and ask questions of health professionals. Every family who wants to make a statement will be able to do so. The seminar findings will be passed on to the Chief Medical Officer. The NACOR helpline is open Mondays to Fridays from 8.30am until midnight on 01271 377485.
