BRAD IBBISON starred for Chorley Panthers under7 team, running in five tries in the 48-24 win over Westbank from Widnes.
The Chorley youngsters started very strongly with Nathan Crawford scoring the first of his two tries in the opening minute while Patrick Taylor proved too powerful in both attack and defence along with Cameron Sharatt.
Jonathan South and Brad Ibbison provided good support play and there was also some strong running and excellent defence from Josh Buckley and Sam Owen to seal this superb win over the visitors.

THE visiting side from Rochdale were in control of this one throughout the first half despite some good scrambling defence from Ryan Addison and Ryan Berry.
In the second half the Panthers came right back into it with some superb tries from David Henderson (2) and Connor Howard. Most improved player with some elusive running was Danny Robinson and Man of the Match was debutant Greg West who made some powerful drives.

THERE was some high quality rugby on display in difficult conditions in this local derby. The Panthers started well and Paul Jones and Josh Charnley (2) gave the home side a 14-6 lead at half-time.
Three tries from the Warriors left Chorley trailing 14-20. Then the home youngsters moved the ball through four sets of hands for Charnley to go the full length of the field and score again.
The visitors notched another to take the lead into the final minute before Sam McNally nipped in at the corner for Chorley. Everything rested on the final kick of the match and Paul Jones kept his cool to convert the try and tie the match.
