BARBARA Taylor from Heaton is an inspirational slimming club leader whose encouragement is appreciated by many local people.
And today, she gets recognition through our Bouquet of the Week.
Her daughter Jeanette writes: "My mum has been a Weight Watchers' leader for six years.
"I myself have lost 3 stones with her and am nominating her on behalf of all her members at the Bolton Rugby Club class and Dunscar Conservative class on Monday and Tuesday nights.
"She is a very special person who has helped a lot of people over her time as a leader with weight losses both small and huge -- up to 8 and 9 stones.
"She is a very enthusiastic person who puts a lot of time into her classes, and this shows in the successes people have.
"She has just been made a Diamond Leader by getting the most people to their goal weight nationally and for being an all-round excellent leader.
"Mum always roots for her members to do well, with praise, encouragement and notes through the post. She is a good listener and adviser, and puts her heart and soul into her classes."
Jeanette felt that a lovely bouquet would show her how much other people appreciate her. And Barbara was thrilled to bits by both the kind thoughts and the hand-tied bouquet from Caroline Ward's flower and gift delivery service (freephone 0800-289-335).
If YOU know a special someone who deserves our weekly flowers, write and tell us about them (including their daytime telephone number) to: BOUQUET OF THE WEEK, Angela Kelly, Features Dept, Bolton Evening News, Churchgate, Bolton BL1 1DE.
