FURTHER to my letter in the weekend edition, the facts I gave I thought where newsworthy and relevent to the topic in question, ie Everton and Arsenal etc building new grounds near to their old grounds.
Everton were thinking about moving some seven miles away but took the trouble to ask them the fans.
They said no and consequently the club are now hoping to move to the dockland area just down the road from Goodison Park.
I thought you should have printed this to highlight the difference between the Bolton and Everton boards.
Bolton is obviously run by accountants, whose sole motive appears to be profit and more profit.
I have been a fan for 46 years and never once have I been made to feel a part of BWFC.
Perhaps the club believes the fan base is of a lesser intelligence than the board and have nothing to offer worthwhile.
It's a pity for the people of Bolton that the football club made a huge mistake by moving to Horwich.
