FORMER Big Brother star Nichola Holt has hit back at accusations that she is too big for her boots.
As reported in the BEN, the 29-year-old was said to have let down members of the Embroiderers Guild by pulling out of a pre-arranged lecture due to be given on Tuesday night.
But an angry Nichola said: "I'm based in London now and I told the guild weeks ago that I would not be able to attend.
"That was because I was booked to do a charity appearance in Cardiff that night. I do loads of stuff for charity."
The former Canon Slade School pupil, whose parents remain at the family home in Turton Road, Bradshaw, was last seen by the public in the area in October.
As the BEN reported at the time, she was appearing at a Leigh carpet firm to raise money for the Down's Syndrome Appeal Fund.
Miss Holt rose to fame in the cult Channel Four show broadcast earlier this year.
