MAY I please extend a very warm invitation to the residents of Horwich to join me on the occasion of the lighting of the Civic Christmas Tree at the Crown Roundabout on Friday, December 1, 2000, at 6pm.
The ceremony will be followed by the usual short Carol Service, conducted by Reverend R H Hambly and the singing will be accompanied by the band from St Joseph's RC School.
