FIVE of Leigh's off-season signings will be in action tonight when the Centurions wrap up their pre-season preparations with the home game against Oldham, kick off 7.30pm.
Chris Morley (Wales) and Dave Bradbury (Ireland) return from World Cup duties while head coach Paul Terzis gives debuts to winger Dave Jones, hooker John Hamilton and Aussie prop Jamie Gass. Scrum-half John Duffy, who made his Leigh bow against South Sydney last week, is also in the squad.
But generally Terzis has rewarded the younger players at Hilton Park by giving them first team starts.
"A lot of the youngsters have worked hard during the off-season and I'm rewarding them for that," says Terzis.
Terzis has named a 24-man squad and all will play. The squad is: Damon Fishwick, Darren Pilkington, Chris Halliwell, Neil Donlan, Dave Jones, Ian Hodson, Lee Sanderson, Craig Wingfield, John Hamilton, Andy Leathem, Ian Lewis, James Lomax, Chris Morley, Darren Leach, Dave Bradbury, Radney Bowker, Neil Turley, Jamie Gass, Andy Parker, Simon Hartley, John Duffy, Paul Wingfield, Chris Smith, Saf Patel.
