LRC will continue their runs as usual throughout the winter months with clubrunners meeting outside the Royal Oak pub on Tonge Moor Road at 9.30am on Sundays.
The ride on December 3 will be to Waddington Cafe. The route will be determined on the day and will be at a social pace.
Faster training runs will start on the same day for riders who want to train over the winter months, again the route will be determined on the day but the pace will be harder and there will not be a caf stop. This ride will probably cover 50-60 miles and will meet at the Black Dog at Belmont at 9.30.
Anyone wishing to join either run should turn up on the day with a roadbike (and spare inner tube - just in case !) you will be made very welcome. If you are not sure of your ability then feel free to join the 'social' run, the riders in that group will be able to advise you as to whether you are upto the faster ride.
If you would like to contact the Lancashire Road Club for further details about time-trials, road racing, clubruns and other activities (including track riding), you are welcome to e-mail us on club@lancsrc.freeserve.co.uk or to contact us by telephone on 01204 653280.
