property consultant Chesterton has landed a major instruction to manage one of Manchester's first city centre residential developments.
Piccadilly Village, a 160 unit scheme off Chapel Town Street and Ancoats Street, was one of the first significant regeneration projects in the picturesque and popular Canal Basin area of the city. Developed by Trafford Park Estates in the mid-1990s, Piccadilly Village was purchased by Green Property in 1997. The award winning scheme, which is mostly under single owner occupation, consists of one- to three-bedroom apartments set in five buildings around the Ashton Canal. There is also a small office building, Outram House, which is occupied by Collingwood Housing Association and Lodge Services International.
Danielle Hyman, Associate Director in the Property Asset Management department Chesterton's Manchester offce, comments:
"We are delighted to have won the contract to manage this prestigious development which is one of the leading urban regeneration schemes in Manchester city centre.
"Green Property is a very progressive company, and we look forward to working with our client to ensure that this property asset is both actively and sensitively managed."
