THE Bolton Cricket League decision on whether overseas amateurs will be allowed next season will be taken at the annual meeting next month.
Last season the League decided to outlaw overseas players from the 2001 season but this was challenged at the change of rules meeting this week.
A majority of 13-6 voted for the rule to be changed and this now goes forward to the annual meeting at Bradshaw Cricket Club on December 11.
However, at that meeting all clubs will have two votes while there needs to be a two thirds majority before the vote is carried.
