The youngster has made a huge impression in his first full season.
At 22, it was about time the former youth team product started to realise his potential but he has ample mitigation for his relatively late start to regular first team action as his career was put on hold for more than a year when he suffered a broken leg.
He is more than making up for lost time with a series of top class performances at the heart of the Watford defence which have seen the scouts flock to Vicarage Road.
The Season So Far: Everything looked rosy in the Watford garden as they went 15 games unbeaten in the league.
Gordon Taylor's men were the last team in England to suffer a league defeat and then they went and endured two more in quick succession.

But from looking like a two-horse race for the First Division title, defeats against Sheffield Wednesday, Tranmere Rovers and Preston saw Watford drop off the pace, leaving Fulham away on their own at the top.
Coming up: Crystal Palace (away, West Brom (home), Huddersfield (home) and Fulham (away).
