GOOD luck to the drink and drive campaign. Why only for Christmas?
The authorities know drinking after time is going on, but won't they stop it? The boozers drive to the pubs and clubs saying -- "I won't be long" but are fed pint after pint. The more they drink, the more money they spend on their alcohol. They find they can't afford to get a taxi.
Why is it allowed to continue? Who is on whose side? The Bolton Licensing Magistrates have given all the boozers the right to stay officially in the pubs and clubs all day long. So breweries and landlords have the right to spoil Christmas and New Year celebrations for the wives and families? Police are outside in the event of the normal rows. but let the boozers carry on. Why?
