IT was the old cliche - a game of two halves.
But the one thing you don't do is what happened to us against Fulham and what happened today - give them a goal in the opening minutes.
Watford had lost three on the trot so they were little less confident but we boosted their ego by giving a goal away like we did. It was just a short back pass they casptialised on and we never recovered from that in the first half.
Michael Ricketts shouldn't have played. It was my fault really. He reported ill today but we were so short of numbers I asked him to go out.
I didn't let him continue, put Ian Marshall on and my mind went back to the Barnsley game at half time when we had Ricardo down the right and Gareth Farrelly on the left with ian in the middle.
We then had to shut Watford down from the off and play as far up the field as we could and in the end that won it for us.
I think Ricardo and Gareth's contribution was enormous. The rest of the team played exceptionally well but those two in particular turned the game in our favour with the amount of corners and balls they put in the Watford box.
As time ticked on you were wondering if the goal was going to come and if they were going to hit us on the counter attack and kill the tame off but the goal did come and we didn't sit back from there. We went for the winner straight away and we deserved that.
They were good goals. The first was down to Gareth Farrelly. His skill down the left caused Cox all sorts of problems. I think Cox thought it was going to go out but Gareth never gave up, A little luck and it falls to Ricardo and he puts it away.
The second one showed what we are about. Good pressure in midfield dispossessed Watford, great ball to Bo and although he'll be disappointed he didn't finish it himself, he was glad Ian Marshall was there to tap it in.
We can forget the first half and concentrate on all ther good things we did in the second. It was a fantastic victory for us and one I think we fully deserved.
