HEALTH and safety issues affecting North-west construction companies will be on the agenda at a free event at Haydock Park Racecourse on Wednesday.
Bolton firms employing between five and 50 people are invited to attend.
It is being funded jointly by the Construction Industry Training Board, the Health and Safety executive and construction companies across the region.
There will be seminars and workshops dealing with asbestos, advice on pre-tender paperwork, risk assessments and working at heights.
Mr James McCreery, Health and Safety Training Advisor for the CITB, said: "The event aims to reduce the accident rate within the construction industry."
"This is very much a pilot event and if it proves successful we will roll it out to the whole of the UK."
