PIGEON droppings in Little Hulton and Walkden have put residents in a flap.
So much so that Salford Council bosses are now holding top level talks with Railtrack chiefs to see what can be done to solve the problem.
Residents are concerned that the droppings are a health hazard.
And the problem has so angered them that it has been raised in the community committee forum.
In a recent report Mr Bruce Jassi, area co-ordinator and director of the Environmental Services, stated bridges were being cleaned more frequently, and that discussions would take place with Railtrack.
He added that if Railtrack was not prepared to co-operate, legal action would be considered.
