BO Hansen believes yesterday's victory could be the springboard towards the heady heights of the Premiership.
A sensational second half display lifted Wanderers right back into the thick of the promotion pack to set pulses racing inside the home dressing room as well as in the stands.
Striker Hansen rammed home the belief that Wanderers have promotion - and that includes a top two place - within their capabilities, especially when the current bout of injury and illness subsides.
The Whites were down to the bare bones of their squad and still beat one of the favourites to go up.
There could be no better time to step up the pace for a top two place, insists the Dane.
"We know we have to put in a spell of eight or nine games in a row that you don't lose and why not start now," he declared.
"There is no point winning one game and then losing the next - that will not get you promotion.
"Three points against Crewe next week will be as important as beating Watford yesterday and we know it won't be easy.
"We always have trouble against Crewe here so we have to put in a performance exactly the same as this one."
Echoing the positive feeling within the Wanderers' camp, he added: "We have great belief in ourselves and we have a great squad. We had eight or nine players out of the side and still put in an unbelievable performance.
"Committment-wise, it was one of our best. We battled so hard.
"It is a great feeling when you come back from a goal down to win but we deserved it because we controlled the game."
