There will be little or no treats
For those without a home,
And living on the streets.
Many had no choice but to roam.
They have no cosy fireside
When the weathers wet and cold.
In paper shelters they sleep or hide
Whether young or old.
Some were servicemen who now can't cope.
Many have no families and live on hope.
Children fleeing abuse and cruel times.
Living from day to day committing crimes.
Too many today are sleeping rough
And their day to day living is very tough.
Are we really doing enough?
On Christmas day our Lord was born.
His light shines out on Christmas morn
Reminding us for why he came.
So help the homeless in Jesus name.
You see Christmas is a special time,
That may bring them hope and strength to climb
Out of apathy and into living again,
They have nothing to lose and so much to gain.
By your donation or a helping hand.
Give to the many Homeless Charities in the land
