BOLTON skater hockey ace Greg Ruxton has conquered Britain and has set his sights on European glory - and he has not even reached his teens yet.
The 12-year-old goalkeeper is part of the untouchable West Coast Wasps Peewee team which destroyed allcomers in the national finals.
And the Horwich youngster's potential was recognised when he was named in the competition's Dream Team selected from the 24 sides taking part.
Rivington and Blackrod School pupil Greg is the only locally-based player in the team which is part of the West Coast Skater Hockey Club.
His side proved totally dominant in the North West Skater Hockey Association, beating all regional teams to win through to the national finals in Hartlepool.
And they remained on a roll in the North East, winning every game to take the overall title and earn the honour of representing their country against the best in Europe next year.
Greg proved a key figure in the finals where he conceded just two goals while at the other end the West Coast lads scored 31.
His father Ged summed up the team's achievement, declaring: "The team has won trophy after trophy but this is the best.
"It's the top event in the country and to win it is like winning the Premier League in football."
