SAM Allardyce has finally been priced out of a move for Colin Hendry.
The Wanderers' boss admitted today that he can't come up with the financial package to sign the former Scotland captain on an extended loan from Coventry City. He has also ruled out a move for Hendry's Highfield Road team-mate Carlton Palmer.
"I'm finding it increasingly difficult to find anything better than we've got at the price we can afford," he explained.
Wanderers Reserves take on Oldham Athletic at Stalybridge Celtic's ground on Wednesday (ko 7pm).
