SUNDAY saw the last race in Chorley Harriers Grand Prix series -- the Guys 10 mile road race.
The flat course and decent weather conditions meant good timings were on the cards.
Dave Carter continues his return by posting a terrific time finishing 19th in 59 mins 08 seconds.
However, the highlight of the day was a personal best by Cheryl Pope, knocking five minutes off her previous 10-mile time finishing with 75mins 3 seconds. Afterwards Cheryl said: "I didn't think I would finish. I could not have done this without the help of the other Harriers. I was exhausted but very happy".
