MS Price is a campaigner for the NSPCC ... to stop cruelty to children. l
am against violence too. That is what prompted me recently to ring their
helpline.
l was told a toddler playing in the street naked after dark did
not constitute cruelty. l said this was only area ONE of the areas
of concern l had.
A young child screaming violently and suddenly, two starving dogs in a cage
outside all winter (they were so hungry they ate the cat... the RSCPA
eventually carried the dogs away, too sick to walk) were a few concerns
that prompted me to call.
l was polite. She said it wasn't an area of concern and did I want to talk to a councillor?.. to which l replied no. l do not want counselling.
Now at least l can sleep at night because l have done my duty to children even if the NSPCC didn't.
