SUNDAY
Wanderers come from behind to score a landmark victory over Watford at the Reebok - Sam Allardyce's first success on SKY TV. Tommy Smith gives the Hornets an early lead and it doesn't look good at half time. But a tactical change and the introduction of Ian Marshall turns the game on its head after the break - Ricardo Gardner netting the equaliser and Marshall the winner, 13 minutes from time.
MONDAY
RENEWED speculation suggest Wanderers are about to sign Colin Hendry.
TUESDAY
SAM Allardyce confirms he is making efforts to work out a financial package that could bring Hendry to the Reebok and admits his interest in another Coventry player, Carlton Palmer. Simon Charlton is back in training after being sidelined for six games.
WEDNESDAY
WANDERERS confirm that they are spending £60-70,000 to have a new pitch cultivated in Grantham - a project that could have paid for itself before the turf is laid at the Reebok next June. Allardyce says he has been priced out of a move for Hendry because he can't put together a satisfactory financial package. Charlton's hopes of getting some valuable match practice are dashed when the reserves' match against Oldham is postponed.
THURSDAY
GUDNI Bergsson urges stayaway fans to fill the Reebok and cheer Wanderers all the way to the Premiership. "It's important for us to get as many people down as we possibly can," he says. "It makes a big difference to the atmosphere and the club's financial position." Wanderers are drawn at home to Sheffield Wednesday in the fourth round of the AXA FA Youth Cup.
FRIDAY
THE on-off deal to bring Colin Hendry to the Reebok is back on as Allardyce reveals he expects to sign the 35-year-old Scotland international on a three month loan deal. He confirms that the player is helping fund the deal but refuses to go into detail.
