Wanderers will be hoping lightning does not strike twice for FA Cup hero Colin Addison.

The Yeovil boss brings his Nationwide Conference table toppers to the Reebok Stadium on January 6 dreaming of repeating one of the FA Cup's most memorable days.

He was player-manager of Hereford United when they beat the giants of Newcastle United in the most famous victory by a non-league team over a league side in the world's most famous cup competition.

He went on to have a successful career in management at Derby County, Athletico Madrid, Celta Vigo and Scarborough.

His great moment of cup history is hardly likely to strike fear into the hearts of a Wanderers side which is flying high at the top of the First Division. But Yeovil's superb form this season will ensure they are treated with respect by Sam Allardyce's men.

The ambitious club believe they are heading towards the Football League with their hot streak on the pitch and superb facilities off it sending a buzz around the Somerset town.

They earned the right to meet Wanderers by stunning one Football League club, Blackpool, on their own ground yesterday and are relishing the chance of running out in front of a big crowd at one of the best stadiums in the country in three weeks.

And they expect to be backed by a massive following which will put the 1,000 following to the Seasiders - their entire allocation - yesterday in the shade.

That small allocation left many Yeovil fans disappointed and insiders believe the club will have no trouble selling as many tickets as they are allocated for one of the biggest days in their history.
