DALIAPOUR will have his last race for Sir Michael Stoute when he contests the Hong Kong International Vase at Sha Tin on Sunday.
The Aga Khan's 1999 Derby runner-up has been sold to local property dealer Robert Ng, whose colours the son of Sadler's Wells will carry on Sunday before joining Ivan Allan.
Daliapour, winner of this year's Coronation Cup, pleased his new connections with his work at Sha Tin racecourse today.
Ng said: "Daliapour is the highest rated horse I have owned and the first one I have had with Ivan. There will be some friendly rivalry between us when Daliapour takes on Ivan's Indigenous and Oriental Express on Sunday."
Allan was impressed with Daliapour. He said: "He is a nice horse and I am looking forward to having him but it will be difficult to improve a horse from Sir Michael Stoute.
"I shall give him a rest after Sunday and aim him for the Dubai Sheema Classic next March."
