CONGRATULATIONS to the Smith Knight Fay Bolton Audi Centre which has won a prestigious Civic Trust Award.
It is proof positive that some modern architecture blends well with the more traditional buildings in Bolton.
The showroom was singled out as the best example of architecture to be built in the Bolton area during the last two and a half years.
Another car showroom, the Lexus Centre, was highly commended in the awards and we congratulate them too.
This is a boost for Bolton generally and illustrates that the best of old and new can be satisfactorily combined.
