A MAN who became involved in a disturbance on a housing estate, was brought before the court 10 months later after a warrant was issued.
Gary Mycock, 20, of Scholes Street, Bury, appeared before Rochdale magistrates, to answer charges of public disorder and failing to answer bail.
He was fined a total of £70 with £75 court costs after he admitted the public order offence.
Mr Eric Heywood, prosecuting, said police had attended an incident on the Darnhill Estate at Heywood involving a number of people. Mycock, who was unconnected to the incident, decided to get involved in a verbal altercation with the police. He was eventually arrested.
However Mycock failed to answer bail, and he was eventually arrested again on warrant nearly 10 months later.
