A TEAM of cabaret performers will be raising money in tribute to their pal who died from cancer.
The five singers will perform at Halliwell Central Reform Club tonight to raise money for the world-renowned Christie Hospital.
Their close friend and fellow performer Ricky Wayne, who lost his fight against lung cancer in February, had managed to raise £13,000 for the Manchester hospital thanks to a series of cabaret nights all over Bolton.
Life-long friend Sheila Diamond vowed to continue the fund-raising to reach Ricky's dream target of £25,000.
She will be performing at the concert along with singers Donna Elson, Alan Kelly, Lynne David and Joe Tilly.
The same team recently raised £1,000 at a charity cabaret night in Unsworth.
The evening starts at 8pm and tickets from the club cost £1.50.
