THE Ukrainian community in Bolton will mark the 15th anniversary of the Chernobyl disaster on Sunday with a service of remembrance.
Children in the Ukraine are still dying today as a result of the nuclear reactor exploding in 1986. Bolton's Ukrainian community wants to remember the workers from the reactor and the thousands who died in the disaster.
A service of remembrance will be held at All Saints Ukrainian Catholic Church, All Saints Street, at 10.30am. Everyone is welcome to attend the service.
