CHILDREN'S charitable groups in Bolton can apply for a financial helping hand from the Mayor.
As part of his annual Mayor's Charity cash handout, Cllr Alan Wilkinson plans funds for kidney patients and research and for tinnitus.
But he has also put aside some cash for local children's charities. "I always intended to help children in the Bolton area," said the Mayor.
"I'd like to hear from a broad range of children's groups from all over the community who might need help with funds."
Time is short, however. Requests to the Mayor for help -- along with information about individual groups -- should be sent by letter to his office at the Town Hall by May 4. The Mayor's office can also be e-mailed at: sally.hayes@bolton.gov.uk
