TABLE soccer star Daniel Belden did Bolton Wanderers proud when he represented them at the finals of a national table football competition.
The 10-year-old won two of his three games, but was knocked out by the eventual winner of the contest from Wimbledon, held at Anfield.
His mother, Helen, said he was upset he did not win the competition, but said he had a great day out.
She added: "He did very well and the standard at the competition was very high.
"He was awarded a cup, a table football game and was given a tour of the ground."
Former Liverpool and England international John Barnes watched the final and presented the trophies.
Daniel, from Chorley, already has a table football game and is hoping to raffle the other to raise money for charity.
