A ROCK 'n' roll revival night in memory of inspirational Karl Hurley takes place at Bradford Ward Labour Club, Bridgeman Street, tomorrow.
Popular Karl was left wheelchair-bound by muscular atrophy but did not let it dampen his enthusiasm for his favourite music, travelling the length and breadth of Britain to attend events with Bolton and Bury's Rock 'n' Roll Appreciation Society.
Attractions at the event, which starts at 7.30pm, include BJ the DJ, Rockin' Ricky, Ricky Taylor and the Echoes and there are even plans for a wet T-shirt competition!
Proceeds will go to Karl's old school, the Lord Mayor of Trealor College, which specialises in educating disabled children.
All are welcome to attend. Further details are available from Ronnie Druckmann on 07901 844514 or Linda on 01942 799914. Rock 'n' roll evening in
