A MAN described as a "walking miracle" will be in Bolton to collect for charity.
David Paterson, aged 45, from Bedford, will be collecting outside Sainsbury's Homebase, Manchester Road, on May 12 and 13 for the Arthritis Research Campaign. Mr Paterson has been fund-raising for the charity for 21 years and has raised £500,000, covered more than half a million miles and 152,000 hours. He underwent pioneering surgery to give him back his mobility after years of being crippled.
