A YOUNG boy suffered facial injuries in an accident with a car last night as he ran away from a dog.
Mohammed Kasan, aged six, of Crescent Road, Great Lever, was taken to the Royal Bolton Hospital for treatment after the accident in Green Lane, Great Lever, at 3.40pm.
It is understood it came after Mohammed ran away from a dog that was being walked on a lead by its owner.
The youngster was involved in an accident with a Honda Civic, being driven by Barbara McCallister of Hardy Mill Road, Harwood.
He was later released from hospital after receiving treatment to grazes to his face.
