Burnden 'walkers' DOES Stephen Kerrigan wear blinkers or perhaps he only sees half a report and then spouts forth rubbish on another's views.
Which category does he suppose I fall into, a team hater or the ground hater?
Perhaps he's one of the supporters who sits at the Reebok admiring the sweep and grandeur of the roof or floodlights and misses what the team is doing.
My point was that it was the people who walked to Burnden who will probably not go to the Reebok unless they can also do it in the comfort of a car. BWFC have probably lost those supporters for good.
My initial letter was to point out the folly of moving to Horwich after nearly 100 years at Burnden, and expecting the support that they had amassed to simply follow blindly to the Reebok.
As to why I switched from supporting United it was because they were becoming too commercial and expecting their fans to pay through the nose about any decision that they made. Sounds familiar doesn't it?
