STEVE Redmond has been at a loss with what to do for the last few weeks.
The Shakers central defender has been suspended for the past five matches and has had to watch from the dugout, content with shouting instructions rather than strutting his stuff on the park.
The former Manchester City favourite returns for the final match of the season at Brentford and it can't come quick enough.
"He doesn't know what to do with himself," admitted Bury boss Andy Preece. "He's been at a bit of a loss but at least he's got the last game to look forward to. He'll be back for that one."
Another defender Danny Swailes could play in that match too - if an appeal against his sending off at Luton is upheld.
Preece considered the dismissal harsh and the red card means an automatic one-match ban.
However, the Bury boss spoke to the referee after the Luton match and the official agreed to watch the match video.
If the ref feels the sending off wan't justified then the one-match ban will be overturned allowing Swailes to take the field for the final match.
"The referee promised me that he would watch a tape of the incident and said that he would sort it out if it wasn't a red card offence," confirmed Preece.
"I went to see him after the match and we had a chat about it and he promised to have a second look and reconsider his original decision.
"We'll have to wait and see what happens on that oen but hopefully Danny will be okay to play atgainst Brentford."
