HENNING Berg believes Wanderers are going to take the First Division race to the wire.
Blackburn could be up after their game against Portsmouth on Sunday if that result and the Barnsley-Wanderers game go their way.
But Berg says fans should put the champagne on ice.
Rovers will be in the Premiership if they win at home to Portsmouth tomorrow and Wanderers lose at Barnsley tonight.
But Berg believes Wanderers will take the promotion battle into the final week.
"I think it's a bit premature to talk about it all being over this weekend because Bolton have three games left and they're a very good side," said Berg. "They know they have to win at Barnsley and I think they've got a good chance of doing that so I don't expect anything to be decided tomorrow."
Whatever happens at Oakwell tonight, Rovers are desperate to go out with a bang against Pompey in their final home fixture of the season.
And Berg is adamant his team-mates have the nerve to handle whatever challenges may face them in the final week.
"Obviously, it helps if you've played in big games before but, having said all that, virtually every game we've played in this season has been a big game," said Berg.
"But we are just concentrating on doing our best and if we can put in three more decent performances during our remaining games then we know we'll be in the Premiership next season.
"We know it's going to be hard tomorrow because Portsmouth are fighting to stay in the division so they'll come and make it very difficult for us.
"But we've been playing well recently and we believe we have the quality to cope with whatever they throw at us."
