IT'S a sign of the changing times at Molineux that some of the most familiar faces are set to sever their ties with the Black Country club.

Havard Flo, Mike Stowell and Scott Taylor are all being released as Dave Jones begins the process of rebuilding the Wolves' squad.

The trio are all out of contract in the summer and will not have their deals renewed while Neil Emblem, Temuri Ketsbaia and Robert Taylor are also expected to be made available for transfer.

Chief executive Jez Moxey has confirmed that Jones will be backed in the transfer market during the close season, although he will also be expected to do his share of wheeling and dealing.

Moxey said: "We will be doing our best to make some funds available to the manager. But we will be looking for him to use all of his well-known experience in the transfer market as well.

"One of the main reasons the board appointed him as manager was because of his record of buying and selling at previous clubs.

"We know we need to change things around for next season and everyone at the club is determined to work hard to get Wolves into top flight football."

Whether Jones will be able to succeed, where so many others have tried and failed at one of football's perennial under-achievers, remains to be seen.

But for now, the former Stockport and Southampton boss is content to just play out time.

Wolves-Bolton clashes have been some of the fiercest of fixtures down the years but tomorrow night's meeting is likely to be lacking the usual level of passion - on the home front at least.

George Ndah and Ludo Pollet have joined Paul Butler in being ruled out for what's left of the season which is petering out miserably for Wolves fans who haven't seen a goal in the last two games at Molineux.
