BURY'S Nicky Hill missed the Wycombe clash after breaking his nose in a freak training ground accident on Friday.
The defender went up for a header with team-mate Chris Armstrong and both players fell to the floor.
Unfortunately for Hill he was underneath Armstrong and the left-back's elbow caught him full in the face, breaking his nose.
''It was just a freak thing but unfortunately for Hilly he came off worse,'' revealed Shakers boss Andy Preece.
''He's got a shiner at the moment but we'll have to wait and see whether or not he's fit for the weekend.''
Definitely back for Saturday's final match at Brentford is Steve Redmond. He has been suspended for the last five matches, two for bookings and a further three for being dismissed at Oldham. That red card still rankles.
''I feel the decision at Oldham was wrong. I've watched the match tape again and it was just an accidental clash. The ref was 30 yards away yet he gave me a straight red,'' said Redmond.
''But the club can't afford to appeal so I've had to bite my tongue and get on with things."
''The younger lads who have come into the defence have performed brilliantly and with my experience hopefully I've been able to pass a few things on and help them.''
