MEMBERS of Tyldesley Little Theatre stage their final production of the season from May 15 to 19.
The latest season has been a follow-up to the company's "greatest hits" of 1999/2000 which revived four favourite shows from its past.
A spokesman said: "The idea then was to present local audiences with a selection of shows never before seen at Lemon Street-- shows by renowned playwrights, featuring original scripts, eye-catching sets and dedicated performances.
"We hope people feel we have been as good as our word and that this final show will match all that has come before."
The play is Time of My Life, by Alan Ayckbourn, and has the writer's usual blend of comedy and pathos.
During the course of the play, audiences share two years in the lives of the Stratton family as father Gerry arranges a night at his favourite restaurant together with close family members to celebrate his wife's birthday.
However, the night turns sour when family skeletons are exposed.
Garth Waddup plays Gerry and Kaye Taylor plays the matriarchal monster, Laura.
Her sons are played by Paul Ward, desperate to loosen the apron strings but never quite managing it, and Ian Taylor, the womaniser.
Both bring their other halves to the meal -- Karen Seddon and Hazel Rimmer.
The restaurant owner is Ken Berry and expect to see plenty of Mike Rimmer as not one but four separate waiters.
Margaret Speakes, a member of the society since 1982, is directing.
Tickets are from the box office on 01204 655619, or the theatre 01942 886908.
