BAe Systems and Airbus UK were making presentations and there will be a case study provided by RD Precision, a major supplier to Airbus.
Attendees talked to experts from Cranfield, Bristol and Salford Universities. Mr Andrew Guilfoy, Project Manager at the North West Aerospace Alliance, said: "Technical innovation is the lifeblood of any engineering sector and events like this allow the flow of leading edge ideas to be disseminated throughout the whole body of the aerospace sector."
