A MAN and woman made a brief appearance at the Old Bailey charged with the murder of Bolton costume designer Liz Sherlock.
The 42-year-old was run over and killed by a getaway car as she chased a handbag snatcher at Euston Station on Easter Monday.
Jackie Moorhouse, 23, unemployed, of Broadfield, Broadfield Gardens, West Hampstead, and Mark Christopher Woolley, 35, a plasterer, of Halfmoon Crescent, Wynford Road, Islington, were remanded in custody until June 25, for a plea and directions hearing charged with the murder.
An inquest was opened at St Pancras Coroners Court last week on costume designer Mrs Sherlock, of Stile Hall Gardens, Chiswick, West London, who died from multiple injuries on April 16.
Mrs Sherlock was taken by air ambulance to the Royal London Hospital, Whitechapel, East London, where she was pronounced dead at 1.13pm the same day. The inquest was adjourned pending criminal proceedings.
