AN organisation set up to beat bullying in Bolton is now showing its sporting skills.
The Bully Free Zone has entered a team to play football in the 11-a-side Sunday Pioneer League.
The team has attracted sponsorship through bedbookers.com for kits and equipment. And though they have not yet won much, organisers are confident they can become a force to be reckoned with under the name Bolton MV.
New players are welcome, on the condition that they sign up to become Millennium Volunteers at Bully Free Zone.
This entails both the footballing side, but also getting involved in helping the community.
Organisers want volunteers to developing anti-bullying work or help begin new projects such as a fair play football team for children in the community.
Millennium Volunteers must be aged between 16 and 25 and interested in meeting new challenges and making new friends. Expenses will be covered.
