WE are writing this letter in the hope that someone will take note that Farnworth town centre still exists.

We seem to have been forgotten.

It makes us very angry when we see other estates continually having money spent on them. It's not fair (we all pay Council Tax and rent!). Is it a case of voting power and we are too small to be bothered with? Well, we are voters and have always voted Labour and our votes count as much as anyone else's.

We are thinking of either not voting again or changing from Labour to anyone who will listen to us. Farnworth Market is a disgrace. It is not 'dying' -- it is 'dead'! And we have toilets from Outer Space. They are only working now and again and are from 'Fantasy Land'.

It seems we in FTC don't matter. We are missed out with SRB. The only thing Bolton has given us on our estate is a children's home, where they can do what they want and cause as much trouble as they like.

We have three ladies who run a voluntary disco twice a week -- Monday 6-8pm, Friday 7-9pm -- otherwise kids have nothing. We only get empty promises.

So come on the people of Farnworth -- stand up and be counted. Put your vote where it counts.
