A TV star has been showing-off her parenting skills at a Tottington pet rescue centre.
Ross the ewe recently appeared on Animal Hospital when her home at Pets In Need featured in the popular BBC1 show.
Presenter Edwina Silver worked as a volunteer for the day at the Turton Road animal shelter and was shown helping Ross, who was pregnant.
The lamb has now been born and volunteers have named him after show presenter, Rolf Harris
Dorothy Maden, owner of Pets In Need, said: "We all thought Rolf was a brilliant name.
"People who saw the show keep laughing about the bit when I asked Edwina to climb onto the muck heap and rake it over!"
Dorothy, who has always been passionate about caring for animals, set up Pets In Need 11 years ago and now takes in all kinds of stray and injured animals and rehomes many for the RSPCA. Ross and Rolf Ref: J1282/4
