IF you are ready for your close up, then budding movie moguls at Bolton Institute want to see you today.
A 14-strong group of students currently on the second year of their video degree course are looking for aspiring actors to star in their own features.
The students have spent months scripting and planning their own video productions which they will submit to examiners as part of their course work.
Now, as they prepare to get the filming underway, they are looking for volunteers who would like to get involved in front of the camera.
Student Brian Sharpe, who is looking for people for the documentary he is making, said: "The films we have to produce are mainly dramatic and the students are looking at everything from thrillers to comedy to serious pieces.
"The productions are all between five and 10 minutes long and will be filmed on locations in and around Bolton."
He added: "We are holding auditions but it is not the case the people need to have prior experience -- they just need to enthusiastic."
Once finished the films will be viewed by an invited audience at a special end of year showcase.
Auditions take place today in the Video Department at Bolton Institute's Chadwick Campus. They will run until 7pm and anyone interested is asked to come along.
