SUMMER is set to be fun in Ramsbottom with a new playscheme set to bring smiles to youngsters in the town.
Arrangements for the recently-launched Ramsbottom Summer Playscheme are now being detailed following the latest meeting of the voluntary management committee.
The new project, to be held at Woodhey High School and named Ramsbottom Five Plus, needs a supervisor and assistants.
The scheme will run for three weeks starting on Monday July 23 with a variety of indoor and outdoor activities planned for children aged 5 to 11. There will be approximately 50 places.
Anybody who wants to work on the scheme should call 01204-880457 for an application form.
For the supervisor's role the closing date is May 30 while those interested in being an assistant have until June 15.
