A WOMAN was arrested after she shouted and swore at police and paramedics and began to throw furniture around.
Magistrates at Bury heard that officers and an ambulance crew went to the home of Deborah Blease following a 999 call.
When they arrived they found an empty medicine bottle and were told that she had taken 80 tablets and one-and-a-half bottles of vodka.
Blease, 31, became agitated and began to shout and swear at those trying to help her. She threw furniture and other items around the living room of her house at Sussex Drive, Bury.
After discussions with Blease's boyfriend, the police and ambulance crew finally decided to leave her in the house, but as they left a lamp was thrown across the room and she was arrested.
Blease pleaded not guilty to behaving in a manner whereby a breach of the peace was likely to be caused.
But magistrates found her guilty and bound her over in the sum of £100 to keep the peace for a period of one year.
