The final, provisionally scheduled for Monday, May 21, will see two local amateur teams battle it out on the pitch that most could only dream of playing on.
Keith Whittaker, organiser of the Hospital Saturday Cup, commented: "We are delighted that Bolton Wanderers have allowed us to return to their ground for the final of this prestigious competition."
The Hospital Saturday Cup, dating back to the early 1930s, has raised many thousands of pounds for local hospitals and medically related charities, and is regarded as the grand finale of the local amateur soccer season.
The action continues this Monday (April 30), when Tempest United take on Atherton Town. The match kicks off at 6.30pm at Tempest's ground.
