YOUNGSTERS in Bolton have been given a taste of DIY skills.
Pupils from Mount St Joseph School, in Farnworth, were given the opportunity to sample the DIY experience.
Bolton Council's housing direct labour organisation staff helped the children with joinery, bricklaying, plastering, plumbing and wallpaper hanging.
Cllr Noel Spencer said: "We will be seeing how we can work with the school and other agencies to develop this sort of initiative in the future to provide more taster sessions."
