I WOULD like to comment about the story in the BEN on Monday, July 9 -- "Summer goes without a swing for children".

I am sorry the children will have nothing to do on their park this summer, but how would they feel if they lived on Hall i'th' Wood?

These children, past and present, have never had a swing or any other amusement. We have had several surveys and consultations, which brought a large amount of money for a park about two years ago, but we are still having meetings and going nowhere.
